1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, browsing, or using the Water Panda mobile application or website (www.waterpanda.in), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our application or services.

The mobile application, website, and the consumer brand name "Water Panda" are trade names owned, managed, and operated by Sri Kamakshi Distributors, a registered enterprise under Indian laws, compliant with GST regulations and certified under the Ministry of MSME (Udyam Registration). Our principal place of business is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

2. E-Commerce Platform & Brand Partnerships

Water Panda operates strictly as an e-commerce and hyperlocal logistics coordination platform.

  • Not a Manufacturer: Sri Kamakshi Distributors is not a manufacturer, water purifier, or bottling plant. We do not manufacture, purify, or bottle water under our own brand.
  • Branded Marketplace: We act as an aggregate retail storefront specializing in the distribution of authentic 20L packaged drinking water jars. We supply genuine products from leading certified brands including Bisleri, Parry's, and Team. All listed brands are sourced from their respective independent, FSSAI-licensed, and BIS-certified production facilities.
  • Our Core Role: Our responsibilities are strictly limited to hosting the digital storefront, managing inventory, processing digital transactions, and executing Assured Doorstep Delivery via our logistics fleet.

3. Ordering, Schedule, and Service Areas

  • App-Based Management: All new orders and order cancellations must be managed exclusively through the Water Panda mobile application.
  • Next-Day Delivery: Orders placed are scheduled for delivery the following calendar day, subject to chosen delivery windows.
  • Service Geographies: We currently serve Thoraipakkam, Karapakkam, and designated areas of South Chennai. Delivery availability to specific apartment complexes or streets remains at the discretion of our logistics team based on operational access.

4. Assured Doorstep Delivery & Access

We promise Assured Doorstep Delivery to our active users. To fulfill this assurance, users are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, gate codes (if applicable), and a reachable phone number.

  • If our delivery vehicle cannot access your premises or reach you via phone, it may result in delivery rescheduling.
  • Users must arrange seamless access for delivery personnel into apartment blocks or commercial gates to ensure timely drop-offs.

5. Empty Jar Return Policy

  • 1-for-1 Exchange: Delivery of a filled 20L water jar is strictly conditional upon the return of an empty jar of the same brand (e.g., a Bisleri empty for a Bisleri full, a Parry's empty for a Parry's full) in clean, reusable condition.
  • Jar Ownership: The physical 20L plastic jars remain the property of the respective brand manufacturer or Sri Kamakshi Distributors.
  • Missing/Damaged Jars: If a user fails to return an empty jar, or returns a severely damaged, punctured, or contaminated jar, Water Panda reserves the right to withhold the new delivery or charge a brand-specific jar replacement fee as per current market rates.

6. Pricing, Payments, and GST Taxes

  • Payment Model: Payment for orders must be made exclusively via the accepted digital payment gateways integrated inside the mobile application at the time of checkout.
  • Taxation: All commercial prices displayed within the app are transparently listed. Invoices will be generated by Sri Kamakshi Distributors inclusive of applicable Central and State GST (Goods and Services Tax) codes.
  • Cancellations: Cancellations made after the delivery vehicle has already departed our local distribution hub for your route may not be eligible for an immediate order credit or refund.
  • Billing Disputes: Any discrepancies regarding payments or delivered counts must be raised with our support team within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery timestamp.

7. Account Deletion & Data Privacy (App Store Compliance)

In compliance with Google Play and Apple App Store developer policies, users retain full control over their accounts. You may request the permanent deletion of your account and personal data at any time directly through the settings panel in the Water Panda mobile application or by emailing our support desk. Upon verification, all personal identifiers, delivery addresses, and order history will be scrubbed from our active production databases in accordance with applicable laws.

8. Limitation of Liability (E-Commerce Safe Harbor)

As an intermediary e-commerce marketplace:

  • Sri Kamakshi Distributors (operating as Water Panda) maintains stringent quality control protocols over our storage facilities and delivery fleet to ensure product factory seals remain perfectly intact.
  • However, because the product is sealed at external certified plants, we are not liable for the water quality, chemical composition, taste profiling, or any manufacturing defects originating from the original brand suppliers (Bisleri, Parry's, or Team).
  • In the rare event of a product quality complaint, our team will actively coordinate between you and the respective brand manufacturer to secure an authorized replacement jar immediately.
